Here are some character sketches from a project I’m helping to pitch. You can see some of the different styles I was playing around with (the fella is actually a caricature based off a photo). Ultimately the “cutesy” cartoony look was the one that won out. A mock-up was thrown together using that style of character, though I won’t be posting that since the project is not greenlit. Two pitches are being made, and I had a hand in hatching both of them. Fun project!
Included here are some of the thumbnail sketches I did. The little old lady character was nixed early on, as was another (unseen here) character.
